The Islamabad IG police on Saturday submitted his report to the Islamabad High Court in which he suggested to take a financial guarantee from the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf in case any damage was reported during its long march, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The police report submitted to the court also contained the threat alerts to the life of PTI Chairman Imran Khan. The report points out that the party has already violated its guarantee given during the May 25 long march.

The provocative statements of Ali Ameen Gandapur and other PTI leaders have also been made part of the report.

The report states that one of the PTI leaders threatened to kill Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah. Videos are also available in which the PTI workers have been provided the slingshots. Awami Muslim League Chief Sheikh Rashid Ahmad and former senator Faisal Vawda have already said that it would be a bloody march. Imran Khan himself has confessed that some of his people are armed, the report states.

It says that the Supreme Court has made it clear that the permission to hold rally is being given as a democratic right. But the apex court has also made it clear that a procession could not be held to overthrow a lawful government. It further says that the diplomatic movement could be closed due to the protest.

In his report, the IG implores the court to give control of all the routes leading to Islamabad airport to the federal agencies.

The IG suggests to seek financial guarantee from the PTI in case of any damage that might occur during the long march.

The IG police report goes on to say that if the PTI provides guarantee then there will be no need even to place containers.

The PTI should be allowed to hold protests only according to the court judgements. If the PTI holds protest as per the stipulated conditions, then he (IG police) is ready to provide security, the report concludes.
