Six police officers from Karachi have been implicated in a case of goat theft, leading to the registration of a case under Section 382 at Hangurja police station, identified as Case No. 114/23, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Saturday.
The incident transpired two days ago when personnel from the CIA police, en route from Larkana to Karachi, allegedly seized an opportunity to engage in illicit activities. Exploiting the situation, they absconded with a goat from a goatherd near Ranipur.
Alerted by the commotion, local residents swiftly pursued the vehicle and managed to intercept it. Upon inspection, a stolen goat was successfully recovered from the vehicle. Shockingly, subsequent investigations identified the culprits as police officers from Karachi.
The accused officers were named in Case No. 114/23 under Section 382, and they include ASI Shaukat Ali Langar, ASI Hidayat Ali Ansari, Aamir Abbas, Ejaz Ali, Sahib Khan, and Laeeq Rehman. All these officials are residents of the Korangi area in Karachi.
