Pakistan, Kazakhstan hold third bilateral political round in Islamabad

The third bilateral political consultations between Pakistan and Kazakhstan were held in Islamabad, with both sides reaffirming their commitment to strengthening ties in various sectors, the Foreign Office reported.

The Pakistani delegation was led by Additional Foreign Secretary Ahmad Naseem Waraich, while Kazakhstan was represented by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs.  

During the meeting, both parties reviewed bilateral relations and discussed ways to enhance collaboration in trade, economy, education, information technology, culture, and tourism. They reiterated mutual support across various fields and agreed to expand cooperation, particularly in the tourism and IT sectors.  

The discussions also covered regional and international issues, including the situations in Ukraine, Afghanistan, and Indian-occupied Kashmir.

The consultations reflect the shared commitment of Pakistan and Kazakhstan to furthering their partnership for mutual benefit and regional stability.
