Reporter of a TV channel came under gun attach in Karachi tonight.
According to details, 92 News reporter Nadeem Ahmad had an argument with a man driving an expensive Vigo vehicle. It’s said the Vigo driver was speeding when Nadeem asked him to drive slow and an argument ensued.
In the meantime, the man driving the Vigo pulled out a gun and fired shots at Nadeem. One of the bullets hit Nadeem’s leg, but his condition is out of danger.
Law enforcement personnel are trying to retrieve CCTV footage of the incident, which occurred in Karachi's Bahadurabad area.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah condemned the incident and sought report from the police. He directed the Karachi police to arrest the accused at the earliest.
Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar also sought a report from the SSP East and directed the police to take the journalistic community into confidence over this incident.
