The 7th Sky Entertainment’s new drama Uraan is garnering mind-blowing feedback from viewers, owing to the amazing content and brilliant performances the serial has put forth on our TV screens.

An intense family drama with a gripping plot and various interconnected sub plots, Uraan explores various themes like greed, desire for fame and luxuries, deception and disloyalty, each disseminating strong messages to the audience.

The story is centered on Malika (played by Kinza), a naïve, headstrong and arrogant girl, who dreams and aspires to live a luxurious lifestyle and become a successful model. Tired of seeing her mother struggle to make ends meet, Malika is desperately in a look out for a ladder or a short cut to upgrade her lifestyle.

Asim, her cousin and long-time fiancé, loves Malika unconditionally and even manages to make her his bride but Malika stays bitter with him throughout. Her crazy desire for fame and money makes her overlook and ignore Asim’s unconditional and true love.

Ultimately, the naïve girl is cheated upon by the person she rests her trust in. She faces deception from Atif Nawaz (Aijaz Aslam), the filthy rich owner of an advertising agency who promises to marry her and fulfil all her desires.

On the other hand, Malika’s brother who is also as greedy and materialistic as her is already on top of his game with his tricks and shortcuts. Unlike Malika, Aqeel hasn’t really encountered any consequences of his greediness so far and continues to fool people and grab money from them.
