Pakistan Navy has once again foiled an attempt by an Indian submarine to enter the country’s territorial waters, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

In a statement released by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday, the Pakistan Navy with its unremitting vigilance and professional competence has once again detected and blocked the Indian submarine on October 16, 2021, from entering into Pakistani waters.

During the prevailing security milieu, a strict monitoring watch has been kept by the Pakistan Navy to safeguard the maritime frontiers of Pakistan.

It is the third incident of its kind wherein, an Indian naval submarine has been prematurely detected and tracked by Pakistan Navy’s long-range maritime patrol aircraft.

The recent incident reflected the deplorable Indian machinations vis-à-vis commitment and resolve of the Pakistan Navy to defend maritime frontiers of the motherland.

In March 2019 also, Pakistan Navy had spotted and warned an unidentified Indian navy submarine in the Arabian Sea on March 4. In a March 5 press statement, the Navy had said that it “detected and blocked” the Indian submarine from entering Pakistani waters. The enemy submarine was purported detected in Pakistan’s maritime zone.

“The submarine could have been easily engaged and destroyed had it not been Pakistan’s policy to exercise restraint in the face of Indian aggression and to give peace a chance to prevail.”

It had further said that it is keeping a close watch on other Indian Navy units stating that the detected sub is one of “the latest submarines of [the] Indian Navy.” Pakistan had also released video footage then.
