Following the repairs of the railway track affected by the ravaging floods, Pakistan Railways has decided to restore three more passenger trains from November 1, reported.

A notification issued by the ministry stated that the authorities gave a go-ahead for the resumption of the

operation of Tezgam Express, Hazara Express, Baha-ud-Din Zakaria Express.

According to details, Pakistan Railway has announced to restore operation of three more trains, in addition to the four trains to be restored on October 20th.

The decision to restore train operation was taken due to the receding of the floodwater along and over the tracks and to overcome the massive financial losses reaching up to millions due to the closure of operations.

Currently, five trains are being run on the track at low speed as a trial. Due to the presence of flood water on the railway track in Sindh, the train operation was completely closed for 37 days. Tezgam Express will run between Rawalpindi and Lahore and Karachi. Bahauddin Zakaria Express will run between Multan and Karachi. Hazara Express will run between Havelian and Karachi

The notification urged concerned authorities to make necessary arrangements, including the opening of reservation.
