Minister of Commerce and Industry Gohar Ejaz has reiterataed his resolve to better the national economy, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.

Gohar Ejaz, while addressing the Malaysian National Day ceremony said that Pakistan has an economy of $330 billion when it should have been at $5 trillion.

Malaysian High Commissioner to Pakistan Azhar Mazlan said that Pakistan and Malaysia have strong brotherly ties and these will be fortified.

Mazlan stressed the need for enhancing bilateral trade, saying the trade between Pakistan and Malaysia is $1.6 billion which will be increased in the near future.
