New Pakistani actor Ali Raza, who was recently seen as the beloved Murad (hero) of his Nooroo Mama in the drama 'Noor Jahan', appeared as a guest at a Fuchsia Magazine show hosted by Rabia Mughni where he talked about modern male-female friendships and much more about his experience in Noor Jahan.
He spoke about his career trajectory, Noor Jahan’s success, his upcoming drama 'Dunyapur' and his opinion on life and relationships.
He shared what he likes in a girl and the list is here for all his fans. The first thing he notices is how she looks at you as one can gauge emotions through eyes. He also wants the girl to be respectful as he finds that quality to be very important in a woman.
Talking about modern-day male and female friendships. He said that he cannot understand these equations as men and women can be friends but nowadays, these friendships are much more. They will hang out together all the time and there will not be any boundaries. He added that he has many female friends but he draws boundaries, he will never touch them or make the men in their lives feel insecure.
He played the role of Kubra Khan's husband whereas Kubra played Noor Bano.
Well, the fans didn’t like the on-screen pairing. They are of the view that the actor is looking younger than Kubra Khan. A few are saying that Kubra Khan is beautiful so she deserved some other actors like Noor Hassan or Ali Rehman Khan.
A social media user wrote, “Kubra Khan could have taken a stand for Noor Hassan regarding her pairing in the drama”.
Another social media user wrote, “The drama is good but there are many mismatched couples in the drama”.
Many didn’t like Noor Hassan’s pairing as well. Netizens are also passing harsh comments on the actors.
During the interview, Ali Raza also praised Kubra for her sweet gestures towards him as he was from Lahore and came to Karachi for drama shoots. He did not like to eat food outside and Kubra knew it so she took food for him on set.
He also said that Kubra cared for him just like a big sister.
He also discussed one of the drama scenes in which he indulged in a fight with his father-in-law (played by Yousaf Bashir) and fans thought it was a real fight.
