Stree 2 recently became the highest-grossing Hindi movie, surpassing the lifetime collections of Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan.
The Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor movie has earned Rs 586 crores at the box office so far, while Jawan has earned Rs 582.31 crores.
Last week, the movie earned Rs 3.60 crore on Friday, Rs 5.55 crore on Saturday, and Rs. 6.85 crore on Sunday. The movie earned Rs. 3.17 crores on Monday and Rs. 2.65 crores on Tuesday.
On its 34th day, the movie has an occupancy of 7.38% in the morning shows, 15.89% in the afternoon shows, 17.63% in the evening shows, and 17.81% in the night shows.
Directed by Amar Kaushik, the movie's storyline and the actors' performances have garnered huge praise.
During a recent event, Rajkummar Rao quipped that he has been receiving immense love from the audience for his portrayal of Bicky in the Stree movies.
“The numbers prove that people have watched the movie and given it a lot of love. Many people made me emotional by calling the success of the movie their personal victory. It made me realize that many people had associated themselves with my journey as an actor,” the actor noted.
