Pakistani blockbuster 'The Legend of Maula Jatt' (TLOMJ), starring popular stars Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, is finally gearing up for its official release in India on October 2, 2024, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The official Instagram page of Maula Jatt announced the news, “The Legend Of Maula Jatt’s legacy lives on! Catch the cinematic masterpiece in Indian theatres from 2nd October 2024. Book your tickets now!”
The post also teased further updates, mentioning, “P.S. Cinema lists to be shared soon.”
The film was initially slated to be released in India in December 2022. However, the release was postponed indefinitely, leaving fans disappointed.
One of the fans wrote, “India me bhut chalegi mai khud dekhonga.”
For those who don’t know, The Legend of Maula Jatt was a huge success both in Pakistan and internationally, and it still holds the record as the highest-grossing Pakistani and Punjabi-language film ever. Based on Nasir Adeeb’s characters, The Legend of Maula Jatt is a modern retelling of the 1979 Pakistani classic. Starring Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, Hamza Ali Abbasi, and Humaima Malick, the film explores the intense rivalry between Maula Jatt and Noori Natt.
