PIA brings back 250 Pakistanis stranded in Sudan

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) special flight on Saturday landed at the Islamabad airport with 252 Pakistanis stranded in Sudan.

Pakistan envoy in Sudan Zafar Sipra saw off the passengers at the airport. He lauded the Sudan government for facilitating Pakistanis to go home. All the passengers have been shifted to quarantine centre and their samples have been taken for the coronavirus test, as part of SOPs formed by Civil Aviation Authority. The passengers will be allowed to go to home only when they test negative for the virus.

Earlier today, Emirates Airlines special flight carrying 225 Pakistanis who were stuck in Dubai as the flight operations got suspended due to the spread of pandemic disease all over the globe, landed in Peshawar.
