Punjab police claimed to have arrested two fugitives from Dubai.
According to a handout, the arrested, Naveed Ahmad and Irfan Ali were wanted to Punjab police in henious crimes. They sneaked abroad after comitting felonies.
On the instructions of IGP Dr Usman Anwar, police have been on a hunt for the fugitives since January 24,2023.
A total of 33 fleeing crooks have been put behind bar in the province after nailing from their hideouts abroad (United States, Great Britain, Gulf states, South Africa and Greece)
The police teams have arrested both the proclaimed offenders from Dubai and reached Lahore.
The arrested Naveed Ahmad and Irfan Ali. Naveed was wanted to Lahore police in a murder case whereas Ifran wanted to Toba Tek Singh Police.
The provincial police chief praised his teams and reiterated the resolve to continue with efforts to bring to book the culpirts and protect the life and property of the citizens.
He said the crooks like murderers, robbers and kidnapers deserves stern punishment.
