Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal has revealed that Afghanistan is making better efforts than Pakistan to eradicate polio, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.
Addressing a Health Research Advisory Board event in Karachi, Federal Health Minister Mustafa Kamal said it seemed that Afghanistan may eradicate polio before Pakistan, says Health Minister Mustafa Kamal.
He said, “I want Pakistan and Afghanistan to eradicate polio together”.
Mustafa Kamal said the solution to Pakistan’s health problems lies in the use of technology and mobile phones, says Health Minister Mustafa Kamal.
He said tertiary care hospitals are bearing the burden of 70 percent of patients.
Health Minister Mustafa Kamal said there is a lack of primary and secondary healthcare in the country.
Every citizen’s national identity card number is going to become his medical record number, said Mustafa Kamal.
I will order reports and research from Health Research Advisory Boards and implement them, Mustafa Kamal said.
He said federal health institutions are not reducing people's pain but increasing it.
The Ministry of Health is a difficult ministry; there is no room for error while dealing with human beings, Syed Mustafa Kamal said.
