Islamabad Police on Saturday rounded up 18 workers of Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM) for holding a public gathering and taking out a rally in the federal capital yesterday despite the imposition of section 144, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
A case was also registered against the PTM workers at the Secretariat police station.
According to the text of the FIR, the party workers held a public meeting despite the imposition of section 144. “The participants later marched towards the Secretariat Chowk despite the fact that they had been told they were committing breach of the law,” read the FIR.
