The weather in various plain areas across the country will remain hot and humid while northeast Punjab and upper areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) are expected to receive downpours, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Saturday.
According to the Met Department, Kashmir, Potohar and the adjacent areas are expected to receive downpours accompanied by strong winds. The Met Department stated that some areas of Northeast Punjab are likely to receive heavy rains.
The met department predicted hot and humid weather in Islamabad while rain is expected in some areas of the capital on Sunday. The weather in KPK will remain hot and humid. However, in some areas of KPK including Dir, Swat, Malakand Abbottabad, Mansehra and Waziristan, rain is likely.
On Sunday, the weather in Punjab will remain hot and humid while a few areas including Murree, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Gujranwala, Sialkot Kasur and Lahore might experience rainfall.
The weather in Balochistan and Sindh is expected to remain hot and humid on Sunday while the coastal areas and Gilgit Baltistan are expected to receive light rain showers with cloudy weather.
