Pakistani-Americans celebrate Independence Day in Brooklyn with cultural festivities and patriotic pride

The Pakistani community in Brooklyn, New York celebrated the 77th Independence Day with great enthusiasm, devotion, and respect, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday. The event was organized by the Pakistan American Merchants Association and Salman Butt was the organizer of this spectacular event, while Consul General Aamir Ahmed Attuzai was the chief guest.
Young children sang national songs enthusiastically and waved the national flags. Singers Humira Arshad, Fiza Ali, Ayeza, Malaika Faisal, and Saira Naseem graced the ceremony by singing the national anthem and songs with their beautiful voices and charming chants.
Honourable guest Aamir Ahmed Attuzai while addressing the ceremony said that we did not get our country as a gift, many sacrifices were made to achieve it, and millions of lives were sacrificed. "We faced the biggest migration in human history."
Salman Butt, the president of the reception committee, paid tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
On this occasion, clothing and food stalls were set up for women, while swings were also arranged for children to play.
This magnificent ceremony in Brooklyn City lasted for several hours. Various accolades were also given to many participants in the ceremony.
