Just like is the case with development projects in other parts of Punjab, especially in provincial capital Lahore, which are being completed at a brisk pace thanks to the attention being given by Punjab Chief Minister Syed Mohsin Naqvi, 75 per cent work on the construction of the road connecting Gujranwala to Lahore-Sialkot motorway has also been completed, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
Around 15.2 kilometer-long and 333-feet wide expressway linking Gujranwala to Lahore-Sialkot motorway will be open for traffic from January 20 2024.
According to estimates, as many as Rs11 billion are expected to be spent on the project.
