The Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad Irfan Nawaz Memon has also been granted ex-Pakistan leave, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Monday.

Earlier, RPO Rawalpindi went abroad on a 15-days leave. The new development creates doubts regarding the transparency of the general elections.

Irfan Nawaz Memon has been allocated a two-day station leave followed by a 12-day ex-Pakistan leave to undertake his religious pilgrimage-Umrah.

To ensure the continuity of administrative functions during Memon's absence, the Additional Commissioner of Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) Muhammad Waqas Anwar has been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing his duties.

The Chief Commissioner Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) issued a notification for the leave of Irfan Nawaz Memon and appointment of Muhammad Waqas.

Irfan Nawaz Memon also served as District Returning Officer in the general elections.
