An alarming surge being witnessed in measles cases as the decease claimed lives of three more children in village Daiwoo Ki Wanda of Garhi Yasin in Sindh during the last three days, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
The dead children were later identified as Amina who was six years old, Abdul Rahim four and Zeenab was three years old.
Due to unavailability of anti-measles vaccines, more children become sick.
Residents of the area appealed to concerned authorities to take immediate notice of the situation and constitute special teams to provide timely treatment to children to prevent disease.
