The government has assured Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) that it is condemning the Israeli atrocities in Palestine at every forum, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
The government team, in talks with Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan’s delegation further ensured that the Prime Minister adopted a clear and unequivocal position regarding Palestine at the summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Federal Minister for Information Ataullah Tarar, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs and Inter-Provincial Communication Rana Sanaullah, IG Islamabad and Islamabad administration were participating in the talks.
The members of government delegation said that the talks between the government delegation and the TLP delegation were positive.
The members of the delegation further said that we demanded that the resolution of old conflicts should be in accordance with the resolutions of the United Nations.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is vigorously fighting the case of Gaza on every forum, delegation members said.
Israel is committing atrocities in Gaza and committing war crimes, delegation members added.
Government delegation assured the TLP negotiators that we demanded that the international community accelerate efforts for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
The Prime Minister has emphasized on making Israel accountable and bringing it to justice, the members of the delegation said.
They said the Prime Minister has said that Israel is committing genocide of Palestinians and committing war crimes.
Pakistan demands that there should be a viable, independent state of Palestine under the pre-1967 borders and a state of Palestine with Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital.
Workers of Tehreek-e-Labaik should be sure that the government is raising a strong voice for the cause of Palestine and will continue to do so, members of the delegation said.
The negotiation team of Tehreek-e-Labaik welcomed the negotiations with the government delegation.
The first round of negotiations took place last Thursday while the second round will be held today.
