The central leadership of Pakistan Muslim League Quaid (PML-Q) has appointed Sheikh Qasim Mehdi as the central spokesperson of the party, the 24HD TV channel reported on Monday
"It is hereby notified that Sheikh Qasim Mehdi is appointed as the party spokesperson," said the notification issued by the chief organizer of PML-Q Chaudhry Sarwar after taking consent of the President Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain.
The notification says that Qasim Mehdi will actively present the party's manifesto and reform agenda to the media.
Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that the government should maintain the GSP+ incentives given to the textile sector.
“GSP+ is crucial to boost the declining exports of the country,” Chaudhry Sarwar said, adding that PML-Q is the only party that is working on the agenda of reforms.
