The main opposition alliance of nine parliamentary parties—the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) has termed calling the National Assembly (NA) session on March 25 from Speaker Asad Qaiser unconstitutional.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, PDM Spokesman Hafiz Hamdullah said that the speaker had violated the constitution by convening an assembly session on March 25.

He said Speaker Asad Qaiser has violated his oath as a speaker and now has proved himself a ‘Tiger’ of the Bani Gala (residence of Prime Minister Imran Khan).

The PDM spokesman said that it has been proved that an oath and a constitution of Pakistan are of no importance to the NA Speaker.

Hafiz Hamdullah said the Speaker has taken shelter of OIC foreign minister’s conference to violate the constitution and rules of procedure of the National Assembly on the matter of No-Confidence Motion.

He categorically said that the PDM rejects this unconstitutional decision, adding that Asad Qaiser may use as many delaying tactics as he wants but he will not be able to save PM Imran.
