Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader and former premier Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said National Assembly (NA) Speaker Asad Qaiser has violated the constitution by not calling the session in 14 days on No-Confidence Motion.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, Khaqan along with Ahsan Iqbal and other PML-N leaders addressed a press conference on Sunday and said anyone who breaks the constitution will face Article 6.

Khaqan said the NA meeting was not convened in 14 days which is clear evidence of a trick to prolong the sitting government of Imran Khan unconstitutionally.

He said they understand that unconstitutional obstacles will come their way but they will face them because the victory belongs to the constitution and the truth only.

The PML-N leader said this is not an election of the GB or Kashmir where a government was formed by investing billions of rupees.

On the issue of renegade parliamentarians of the ruling party—the PTI, he said no one asked for money and no one received it.

Talking to the media, Ahsan Iqbal said the Imran-led government is now using the religion card by giving the slogan of ‘Amar Bil Maroof’.

Ahsan said Amar Bil Maroof does not mean to violate the constitution to save your government or give the worst unemployment to the youth.
