Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA from Bahawalnagar Abdul Gafar Wattoo Sunday said that he was wrongly blamed for visiting the Sindh House and issued a show-cause notice by the party, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
He said in a video message that no work had been done by the PTI government in his area during the past three and a half years and added: “When we show resentment over the government’s indifference to carrying out development works in our areas, we are blamed wrongly.”
He also maintained that he won the 2018 election from NA-166, Bahawalnagar, as an independent candidate and joined the PTI because it had the motto of “eliminate corruption”.
“But, despite all these slogans, I have not been able to get any work done in my constituency in three and a half years of the PTI’s rule,” he regretted.
“Never did I go to the Sindh House, but I am blamed wrongly for being there,” he stated.
It is to be noted here that the PTI issued show-cause notices to its several lawmakers after 24 of them were discovered at the Sindh House as they were not happy with the performance of their government and showed readiness to support the opposition’s no-confidence motion.
