Expressing anger at the misuse of authority by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) officials in PTI leader from Multan Kanwal Shauzab’s case, the Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday hinted at imposing exemplary fines on the guilty Agency officials, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The court ordered FIA Deputy Director Salman Khan and the investigation officer in the case to submit their replies in writing to the court.
During the hearing, Deputy Attorney General Syed Tayyab Shah told the court that the matter had already been settled between the parties.
IHC Chief Justice (CJ) Justice Athar Minallah asked as why not action was taken against the officials who misused their powers by conducting an inquiry.
