Although 28-year-old Pakistan cricket team skipper Babar Azam has won laurels for the country due to his superb performances, still he could not escape the Department of Excise & Taxation team which warned him to change his car’s illegal number plate on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The department’s team stopped him at Lahore’s Liberty roundabout and when after checking car papers it was found out that the number plate was illegal, the team warned the skipper to get the plate removed.
Previously, his cousins Akmal brothers, also world renowned cricketers, had also been caught violating traffic and excise rules.
