On the second day of the 17th Women's Open National Swimming Championship competition at Defence Housing Authority (DHA), Lahore swimming pool, the Pakistan Army team took lead, reported 24NewsHD TV on Saturday.
Meanwhile, the team Water and Power Development Authority (WAPDA) was spotted at number two and Sindh at number three.
In the first half of the day, three new National records were set. In the open category, WAPDA’s Jahan Aara set a record in 800m freestyle by setting a new national record.
In the under-16 category, the Pakistan Army team set a national record in the under-16 category, Fatima Salman of the Pakistan Army in the under-12 category set a national record in the 50m butterfly. In the open category
On the other side, for men, Danial Ghulam Nabi of WAPDA set a record in 100m breaststroke. Muhammad Ahmad Durrani of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa set a national record in 100m backstrokes.
