Pakistan won the three-match T20 series against Bangladesh by wining the second match at Dhaka National Stadium. Pakistan completed the target of 109 runs in 18 overs with eight wickets remaining. Fakhar Zaman scored 57 runs and played a decisive innings.
Fakhar Zaman was the Man of the Match of second T20 between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
Bangladesh on Saturday set a paltry target of 109 runs for Pakistan to win the second T20 International and the series being played in Dhaka today.
Batting first after winning the toss, the Bangladeshi batters had no answer to some tight and tidy bowling of the Pakistani bowlers and could manage to score only 108 for the loss of seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
For Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Aridi and Shadab Khan took two wickets each.
Earlier, speedster Shaheen Shah Afridi replaced teammate Hassan Ali for the second T20 International against Bangladesh.
Hosts Bangladesh again won the toss and again elected to bat first in the second T20 International against Pakistan.
The second T20 International of the three-match series is being played at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Dhaka. Bangladesh has made no change in their side for the second match.
The Bangladeshis who also won the toss in the first T20 lost the match by three wickets but that too was not without a fight.
Both sides will also play a two-match Test series after the T20 series.
Pakistan is looking confident to continue its victory marathon from the start of the tournament where a good number of the crowd came to watch their favourite players. On the other hand, Bangladesh really wanted to break the jinx of consecutive six defeats including five from the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup in UAE.
