A businessman from the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area of Karachi was abducted and robbed of millions of rupees. The businessman returned to Karachi with the help of the Coast Guard and Rangers in Balochistan.
Affected businessman Shamsullah registered a case of the incident. In the First Information Report (FIR), he said that his friend Amanullah has started a property business and called him with an investment of Rs5.1 million.
He was on his way to Malir in Amanullah's car when they were abducted at gunpoint by armed men in a double cabin car at Karachi Development Authority (KDA) Officers Society,” he added.
When he resisted, unidentified persons tortured and blindfolded him, robbed everything, including money and necessary documents, FIR stated.
According to the businessman, the accused reached a place and locked him up in a room and put his thumbprints on plain paper and also got him to sign.
Late at night, he was dropped off at a deserted spot, where he walked to a nearby Coast Guard checkpoint.
The Coast Guard took him to Rangers, who brought him back to Karachi. Affected businessman Shamsullah has alleged that his friend Amanullah kidnapped him with the help of his accomplices in greed for money. He does not know where Amanullah is now.
