In an exclusive interview with 24News HD TV, Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman himself is an unnecessary element in this world. He said that major administrative reforms are needed in Pakistan regarding extremism.
Responding to a question, he said that it is the responsibility of political parties to fight extremism.
Iran and Saudi Arabia have imposed penalties on underage marriages, but here a religious cleric stands upon this law. A country cannot run like this, they are trying to take us towards the Stone Age, he added.
He said that the opposition has no strength to do a long march against the government.
Meanwhile, Federal Minister for Information Chaudhry Fawad Hussain congratulates working journalists on passing of Journalist Protection Act by Senate. He said the bill would give working journalists the same rights for the first time, which only journalists get in the modern civilized World.
This law is an expression of Prime Minister Imran Khan's government's commitment to press freedom, he added.

Implementing this law will play an important role in securing the work of journalists and bringing about changes in their lives.
