Sindh announces implementation of minimum wages of Rs25,000

Following the high inflation, the Sindh government Wednesday announced the immediate implementation of minimum wages of Rs25,000 in all public and private institutions in the province.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also announced that the minimum wages could be enhanced more.

The Sindh CM said that the federation has created a situation of confrontation between the public institutions due to which the entire country has come to a standstill.

In a media briefing after the cabinet meeting on Wednesday, the CM said that the people are in a bad condition due to inflation.

Murad Ali Shah also informed about the decision of the Cabinet to reduce the passing marks for women, disabled and minorities for the recruitment of teachers.

Replying to a question, he said the Sindh Assembly Speaker had already been abused and was arrested first and the case was made later. So, he added that the speaker had now a right to go to the Supreme Court.
