Bollywood’s megastar Salman Khan has opted for additional security measures through purchasing a new bulletproof car at a cost of approximately $240,000 in response to escalating threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The superstar has reportedly imported the bulletproof vehicle from Dubai.
Salman's latest acquisition is a Nissan Patrol Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV), renowned for its top-notch safety features including bulletproof protection, and is powered by a 5.6-litre V8 petrol engine with a four-wheel-drive system. It serves as one of the actor's key defenses amid heightened security concerns.
This is the second bulletproof car Salman has imported from Dubai in response to escalating threats from Bishnoi, who has targeted Khan since his involvement in the 1998 blackbuck poaching case.
The blackbuck, a species considered sacred by the Bishnoi community, has placed the actor in the crosshairs of the imprisoned gangster.
Salman Khan's security has been significantly enhanced in recent months, as authorities remain on high alert following Siddique’s murder. The actor continues to face threats, and his security detail has been expanded to ensure his safety.
