Afridi feels for 'homeless' in US on sidelines of Kashmiris' plight awareness drive

Chairman of Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir Shehryar Afridi has felt strong concern for homeless Americans in New York where he landed to raise voice for Kashmiris fighting for their just right to self-determination.

In a video, he rapped the US for its 'failure to adopt measures to help the homeless'.  He said the rulers of these states criticised Prime Minister Imran Khan's shelter home project which is aiming at helping the helpless.

The Parliamentary Committee on Kashmir chairman reached New York to raise awareness about Indian war crimes in illegally occupied Kashmir.

He is due to have meetings with expats' associations and other such forums to muster support for the people of Kashmir.

He said the Pakistani nation should be 'grateful' that they are not in such a 'grave' situation. According to a state-run news agency, the Kashmir committee chairman visited the US to highlight the Kashmir cause at various forums including the members of US Congress, think tanks and human rights bodied on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly.

Shehryar Afridi's story made many people think if America is poorer than Pakistan.
