A man killed his father with a hammer blow for property in Landra area within the limits of Sadar police station in Shakargarh, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
According to police, accused Ghulam Mustafa escaped from the crime scene after killing his father.
Police registered a case against the accused on the complaint of sister of the deceased.
However, the police shifted the dead body of the deceased to Tehsil Hospital Shakargarh for post-mortem and started searching the accused.
