Social media influencer Sahil Adeem faces legal trouble as a non-bailable arrest warrant has been issued against him by Judicial Magistrate South for allegedly using foul language against the Sindhi community.
Judge Sher Muhammad has ordered Adeem’s arrest and directed authorities to present him in court by September 24.
Advocate Abdul Fateh Chandio, the plaintiff, expressed frustration, stating that Adeem has failed to appear in court for over three months.
An application has also been filed to place Adeem's name on the Exit Control List (ECL). Despite the expiration of his protective bail, Adeem has not approached the court.
A case was registered against Sahil Adeem at the City Court police station, and the court has now moved to expedite his arrest.
Sahil Adeem is not new to controversies, as his remarks against women on a private TV channel show also drew ire.
Adeem stated that 95 per cent of women in the country were ‘jahil’ (ignorant) in the programme.
Khalil-Ur-Rehman doubled down on this argument when challenged by a woman Azba Abdullah in the audience.
