Pakistan and Iran have decided to establish a joint special economic zone on the Gabad-Rimdan border near Chaghi in Balochistan as the Federal Cabinet approved signing an MoU with Iran in this respect, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The MoU will be signed during the Iranian President's visit to Pakistan as both countries have finalized the draft of the memorandum of understanding.
A special Economic Zone will be established on the Gabad-Rimdan border near Chaghi in Balochistan which will promote bilateral trade and economic activity between the two neighbouring countries.
It is pertinent to mention that the Iranian President is set to arrive in Pakistan on an official visit. During his visit leadership of the two countries was likely to sign a number of agreements of mutual interests as both countries wanted to promote people-to-people contact and bilateral trade.
