An Indian wild deer unexpectedly strayed across the border and entered a local neighborhood of Narowal city, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
Residents of Narowal were left astonished when the animal, seemingly disoriented and unable to find its way, wandered into Mohalla Araiyan, colliding with walls and moving frantically through narrow streets.
Eyewitnesses reported that the deer appeared agitated and continued to injure itself while running into walls in search of an exit.
Locals, noticing the animal's worsening condition, acted quickly to prevent further harm. They captured the deer safely despite its injuries.
Recognizing the unusual and delicate nature of the situation, area residents immediately contacted the Punjab Wildlife Department to report the incident and request assistance.
