Pakistan allows Indian Sikhs to join Baba Nanak’s celebration at Kartarpur

Pakistan Saturday allowed Indian Sikh pilgrims to participate in the event of Baba Guru Nanak’s death anniversary at Kartarpur next month.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) had decided to give such permission under the COVID-19 Protocols.

As per the report, Pakistan had ended the Indian status of Category-C and allowed its fully vaccinated citizens to visit Kartarpur.

During the growing outbreak of the Corona epidemic, India remained on the list of Category-C countries from May 22 to August 21 this year.

The NCOC in a meeting on Saturday decided that only fully vaccinated persons who have certified certificates of anti-corona vaccination would be allowed to enter Pakistan.

The NCOC decided that Sikh pilgrims must show their fresh negative test report of corona (maximum 72 hours before entering Pakistan).

It is also decided that in the case of receiving PCR of the traveller positive, he would not be allowed to come to Pakistan.
