Maryam Nawaz, daughter of former premier Nawaz Sharif, will visit the mausoleum of Benazir Bhutto, the first woman prime minister of a Muslim state.
Flanked by former prime minister Shahid Khan Abbasi and ex-state minister Marriyum Aurangzeb and other party leaders, the vice president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz will land in Sukkur on December 26.
Maryam Nawaz will lead a rally to Garhi Khuda Bux on December 27 to join the Pakistan People’s Party observing the death anniversary of Benazir Bhutto.
She will attend a public gathering to be hosted by the PPP as part of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM). PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto will host a lunch in her honour.
Reportedly, Maryam Nawaz is visiting the Sindh province on the initiation of Bilawal Bhutto. PML-N and PPP are part of the 11-party alliance, PDM, that has been on an anti-government campaign and Maryam and Bilawal are among the major leaders.
