Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma has become the brand ambassador of Puma hours after bashing it for using her picture for its promotion.
The brand used Anushka's pic inviting her ire.
“Hey, puma India? I’m sure you know that you have to take permission before you can use my imagery for publicity since I’m not your ambassador. Please take it down," she wrote as she showed her 'anger'.
She announced that she was now the new brand ambassador for Puma.
Later she took a swipe at the brand. She hosted a promotional event for the brand in Mumbai too. It turns out her reaction to the brand using her pictures ‘without permission’ was a gimmick.
After this news, Anushka’s husband Virat Kohli dropped a lot of red heart emojis on the post.
The brand responded to Anushka’s story by posting a picture with the caption: "Puma x Anushka" and has a "confidential" stamp on it.
"Hey @anushkasharma, we should've reached out sooner! Should we take things to the next level, then?".
Anushka shared it on her Instagram story and wrote the caption: “I’ll sleep on it”.
