Nawab Jahangir Khanji on Wednesday declared the Indian occupation of the Muslim State of Junagarh illegal and unconstitutional.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Nawab of Junagarh Nawab Jahangir Khanji delivered a speech at the Quaid-e-Azam University on Wednesday.
The Nawab of Junagadh while speaking at the Quaid-e-Azam University called the Indian occupation of Junagadh illegal and unconstitutional.
The Nawab of Junagarh said his ancestors’ state Junagadh was the sixth richest state out of 562 independent states before Indian occupation.
He added that the State of Junagadh was also the second richest Muslim state at the time of the partition of India and Pakistan.
The Junagarh state has been ruled by the Nawab of the Junagarh family for 250 years, Nawab Jahangir Khanji said.
Nawab Jahangir Khanji said Junagadh had the largest coastline hundreds of miles long which is just less than 300 miles from Karachi.
