President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chaudhry Parvez Elahi has filed his nomination papers for the upcoming general elections.
He will be contesting from three national and three provincial assembly seats, according to his lawyer Sardar Abdul Razaq.
Sardar Abdul Razaq met with Chaudhry Parvez Elahi in Adiala Jail, where he is currently imprisoned on corruption charges, and got him to sign the nomination papers. He said that Chaudhry Parvez Elahi will be running from Mandi Bahauddin, Tala Gang and Gujrat districts.
He said that Chaudhry Parvez Elahi will be a strong candidate for PTI and will win the support of the people.
He also expressed confidence that Chaudhry Parvez Elahi will be acquitted of all the charges against him and will be able to take oath as a member of parliament.
