A special meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi was held to review the progress on proposed issues for improvement in Data Darbar Hospital, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Wednesday.
The meeting considered the proposal to also set up a treatment center for drug addicts in Data Darbar Hospital, and decided to hand over the management of the hospital to the Anti-Narcotics Force.
Initially, 50 beds will be allocated in Data Darbar Hospital for treatment of drug addicts, and the hospital aims to provide the best medical facilities for the people, according to Mohsin Naqvi.
He also said that Data Darbar Hospital is being handed over to Primary and Secondary Healthcare for improvement in management, and that Data Durbar Hospital, located in the central part of the city, will be upgraded.
Provincial Minister Azfar Ali Nasir, Chairman Planning and Development, Senior Member Board of Revenue, Secretary Awqaf, Secretary Health, Special Secretary Health Commissioner Lahore and other officials were also present at the meeting.
