Government officers can now avail the loan facility at two percent markup, 24NewsHD reported on Friday.
According to the report, Pakistan Administrative Services (PAS) and Provincial Management Service (PMS) officers can now avail an almost interest-free loan facility.
A committee has been set up to oversee this loan scheme and Finance Secretary Mujahid Sherdil has been appointed head of the committee.
A grade 17 PMS or PAS officer can get loan up to Rs5 million, grade 18 officer up to Rs15 million, grade 19 and 20 up to Rs20 million and grade 21 and 22 officers can get loan up to Rs250 million.
The government officers availing this facility can return the loan in easy installments.
