Under the supervision of SP Cantt Awais Shafiq, Ghaziabad police arrested four notorious drug-dealers red-handed supplying narcotics and toxic liquor for celebrations on New Year night in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
According to police spokesman, SP Awais Shafiq received credible information about supplying of narcotics and toxic liquor for New Year night.
A police team was constituted who arrested four record-holder narcotics dealers namely Erick Masih, Shahid, Tanveer and Umar and recovered 3 kilograms of hashish and 200 liters of toxic liquor from their possession.
Police spokesman said that all the arrested accused admitted their involvement in supplying narcotics to youngsters for celebration of New Year night.
SP Awais Shahid lauded the performance of SHO Ghaziabad Faisal Nadeem and his team for taking prompt action against drug-dealers.
The SP further said that police will take strict action against persons involved in aerial firing, supplying of narcotics and creating law and order situation.
