Lahore Qalandars outclass Peshawar Zalmi in PSL match

Lahore Qalandars’ Muhammad Hafeez and Rashid Khan clinched victory for their team as they outclassed Peshawar Zalmi by four wickets in the second match of Pakistan Super League Season Six which was played at Karachi’s National Stadium on Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Afghanistan’s world-class spinner Rashid Khan hit the winning shot for a six to bring victory for his team in the very first match of Lahore Qalandars.

Earlier, Peshawar Zalmi set Lahore Qalandhar a target of 141 runs to win the second match of the Pakistan Super League Season Six. Put into bat first, the main batsmen of the Peshawar Zalmi failed to click. Middle-order batsman Ravi Bopara managed to score 50 to take his sides’s total to 140 for six wickets.

The other notable batsmen were Shoaib Malik 26, Sherfane Rutherford  26 and Amad Butt 23.

For Lahore Qalandhars, the wrecker-in-chief was Shaheen Shah Afridi who grabbed three wickets by giving away just 14 runs in four overs. Salman Mirza took two wickets for 35 runs.

Earlier, Lahore Qalandars won the toss and decided to bowl first against the Peshawar Zalmi in the second match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 6 being played at National Stadium in Karachi Sunday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
