Sindh Public Service Commission test for teachers cancelled after paper leaked

Teh Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) issued a statement on the issue of paper leakage and postponement the test for the post of BPS 16 secondary schoolteacher on Tuesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.


According to sources, the Controller of Examinations, API SCI stated that the information about test paper leakage was received after which the Chairman Sindh Public Service Commission Muhammad Waseem has ordered an inquiry into the matter.


The protest by the candidates on postponement of the test has now ended while the new date for the postponed test which will be announced soon, Sindh Public Service Commission said.


Earlier, the SPSC has announced the cancellation of test to be held today for the post of Secondary School Teacher Grade 16 due to students protest.


It was decided to cancel the test to maintain the credibility of the Commission, SPSC spokesperson.


It is pertinent to mention here that it was a merit test for 16th grade vacancies of education department of Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC).


Merit test was held in the grounds of Jamia University, Sindh.


A scuffle was occurred between the administration and the candidates in result of which the candidates tore up their papers and torn down the tents.


According to the candidates, the paper was out just before the time of test.


One of the candidates asked to stop joking with SPSC merit.


Another said, the test time was 9 whereas the students were not handed over the answer sheets till 11.


Furthermore, the Police personnel arrived to stop the protesters.
