World Trade Organisation (WTO) on Thursday ordered Pakistan to abolish anti-dumping duty levied on the import of Biaxially Oriented PolyPropylene Films from the UAE after the former lost case to the Gulf country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
The WTO has also rejected the request for the refund of duty money from the UAE.
In its verdict, the organisation has said that Pakistan has failed to give justification for imposing anti-dumping duty, saying Pakistan did so without any evidence.
The UAE had challenged Pakistan’s decision to levy duty on the import of Biaxially Oriented PolyPropylene Films at the WTO.
