The Federal Investigation Agency has declared Suleman Shehbaz innocent in the money laundering case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The FIA declared Suleman innocent during the hearing of pre-arrest bail application of the son of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the FIA Court in Lahore on Saturday.

Special Judge Central Bakht Fakhar Behzad heard the case.

Special prosecutor Farooq Bajwa and investigating officer appeared before the court along with interim challan.

The judge inquired where was the record along with the challan.

The IO replied that the challan would be presented after getting it officially approved from the authority concerned.

Amjad Pervaiz Advocate said that since Suleman has been declared innocent in the FIA challan, he wanted to withdraw the bail applications of Suleman Shehbaz and Tahir Naqvi. The court allowed him to withdraw the applications.

Now the arguments will be presented on the acquittal of 13 other accused involved in the case.

The court summoned Suleman on February 4 for the trial.

In today’s FIA challan, only Suleman was declared innocent in the case.
